- Peel Apples, remove the core and cut into 1-2cm cubes. Place in a saucepan, add Sugar and Lemon Juice, cover with a lid, and simmer until soft. The cooking time depends on the type of Apple. *Note: 1 to 2 teaspoons Water might help cooking process.
- To make custard, place Egg Yolks, Vanilla Extract, Sugar & Flour in a saucepan and combine well. Add warmed Milk and mix well. Cook over a medium to low heat, stirring constantly until custard thickens.
- *Note: The custard can be cooked in the microwave. Place all ingredients in a heat-proof bowl and whisk well to combine. Then cook in the microwave, occasionally whisking, until thickens.
- Add cooked Apple to the custard and combine. Enjoy warm or cold. Today I added some Crumble on top. *Note: I wanted to add crumbled Butter Cookie but I didn’t have any, so I baked Crumble.
- How to bake Crumble: Mix 20g Butter, 20g (1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon) Cater Sugar and 40g (4 tablespoons) Plain Flour to make soft dough. Crumble the dough on baking paper and bake at 160℃ for 10 minutes. I used mini toaster oven.
