  1. Get 1 cup Maida (plain flour)
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup Besan (gram flour)
  3. Get 1/4 cup fine Sooji (Semolina)

  6. Make ready 1 tbsp Malai or full fat Milk

  11. Take 1/4 tsp salt
  12. Take 1/4 cup silvered Almonds

  2. Blend Ghee, Sugar, Malai and Curd to a smooth and creamy mixture. (I used food processor here to blend)
  3. Now pour the creamy mixture to the dry ingredients and Combine everything together to form a non-sticky dough. Note :- If it's dry add 1 or 2 tsp milk and if it's sticky(like mine was) keep it in freezer for just 5-10 mins and then again mix well.
  4. Pinch medium sized balls from the dough. Roll them in palm and slightly flatten. Place them in a greased baking tray while keeping some space between them. Make some criss-cross design on the nankhatai with a toothpick and press silvered almonds on top gently.
  5. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 18-20 mins till light golden.
  6. When cooled, keep Nankhatai in an airtight container.
