  4. Now add ghee Continue to stir & simmer till the whole mixture becomes dry. The milk should evaporate & you will see fine milk solids in halwa, remember to scrape the milk solids stuck at the sides of pan & add them to halwa. Some moisture is also fine in the halwa. Add saffron, cardamom powder, almond & pista - & stir it. - Serve gajar halwa hot, warm and you can also - serve it cold.
