  4. For stuffing: take a bowl, add cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and cardamom powder.
  5. Mix well, stuffing is ready.
  6. For sugar syrup: add sugar and water in a kadai and bring to boil.
  7. Once it starts boiling, lower the flame and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Turn off the flame and keep aside.
  9. Now to make pedas, knead the dough again gently.
  10. Roll into equal-sized balls and flatten slightly.
  11. Put a little of the prepared stuffing in the center.
  12. Gather the sides and cover the stuffing.
  13. Pinch to seal and roll it.
  14. Flatten slightly and make pedas.
  15. Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame and fry all the pedas on medium flame until dark golden brown.
  16. Once done, drain and add to sugar syrup.
  17. Let it soak for at least 1 hour.
  18. Serve with garnish of chopped nuts
